I am an experienced Life Coach, Rapid Transformational Therapist and Certified Hypnotherapist and have over 10 years’ experience in helping people achieve a transformation in some aspect of their life where they have been stuck.
I am an expert in helping people overcome burnout, through restoring themselves on every level – emotionally, mentally, physically, spiritually.
I personally experienced multiple cycles of burnout over a period of many years, from my corporate job, as an entrepreneur working in start-ups and ironically as a life coach! I kept thinking the issue was the job until I realised it had everything to do with me. Don’t get me wrong, the environment plays a part, being in any type of stressful work environment is a contributing factor.
But what work isn’t stressful on some level these days?
It’s all about how you manage it, or not as my case was. I would push myself to breaking point then my first step towards recovery was always to take a break from work, during which time I would explore all types of alternative therapies and massively overhaul my diet – and this worked. I would be back on my feet and raring to go again within a few months. These changes to my well-being were absolutely fundamental to me regaining my health, are still ingrained in my life today and are also a key part of my work with my clients.
HOWEVER, despite all these lifestyle changes, the cycle kept repeating, so I started digging deeper and I found the answers to the destructive pattern lay within me and how I was hard-wired to think, feel and behave.
I came across Rapid Transformation Therapy (RTT) and it enabled me to get to the root cause of this repeating pattern of burnout and finally FULLY recover.
Just a few RTT sessions over time revealed to me the reason and cause as to why I would continue to push myself through, seemingly fine and managing to juggle many balls in the air, creating the impression I was superwoman – until it all came crashing down, again. Why it was, that despite all the great healing work I was doing, the effects were never lasting.
It was all triggered by being a high-achiever, having a fear of failure, a need to be perfect, an addiction to being busy, an inability to put my own needs first and a resistance to taking help from anyone, as I perceived it as a sign of weakness. Thanks to RTT, I have since overcome all of these things. I have never burned out since because I have totally changed my beliefs and have the insight, understanding and tools to manage my health and my life and keep myself in balance, always.
